Advisor FAQs

Answers to common questions about joining Seer Collective, offering services, getting paid, and growing your practice.

Joining the Collective

What is Seer Collective?

Seer Collective is a curated guidance network connecting clients with trusted human advisors for one-to-one sessions, written guidance, classes, collective experiences, and other meaningful connections. We call the practitioners in our network Advisors. This is not an open directory where anyone can register and start selling services; we are building the Collective carefully, with trust, experience, and integrity at its center.

Who can become an Advisor?

We welcome experienced practitioners across tarot, oracle, astrology, mediumship, runes and divination, intuitive guidance, spiritual mentorship, life and business guidance, energy and ritual-based work, and other forms of thoughtful spiritual or practical mentorship. You may work across more than one discipline. Sage Goddess-trained and certified practitioners may receive priority consideration, but the network is not limited to them.

What are the benefits of joining?

You become part of a curated, trusted network while keeping your individual voice and practice. Benefits we are building include active marketing and promotion, access to new audiences, a dedicated Advisor profile, shared brand visibility, platform payment processing, opportunities for collaboration and events, and flexible independent scheduling. We want you to spend more time doing your work and less time trying to be discovered. You will also be invited to optional Advisor Circles: online gatherings for shared learning, practical advice, and exchanging ideas with fellow Advisors.

What does Seer Collective look for in an Advisor?

We value experience and skill, but also compassion, sound judgment, communication, appropriate boundaries, reliability, and the ability to listen deeply. An Advisor does not need to claim every answer. The work is about offering thoughtful guidance, helping clients feel witnessed, and making room for what is unfolding.

How do I apply?

Prospective Advisors complete an application describing their training, experience, specialties, availability, and approach to clients. Applicants may be accepted, placed on hold for future consideration, or declined. An on-hold decision may simply reflect our current balance of specialties, available openings, or launch timing.

Is everyone who applies accepted?

No. The Collective is intentionally curated. We may limit how many Advisors work in particular areas so the experience stays meaningful for clients and practitioners alike.

Will Advisors have different experience levels?

Yes. We expect to organize Advisors into levels informed by experience, training, specialty, demand, and professional history. These levels help clients understand an Advisor’s background and experience; they do not set the Advisor’s prices or judge someone’s spiritual worth or ability.

Marketing, Visibility & Community

Will Seer Collective help me find new clients?

Yes. This is one of the central benefits of joining. We plan to actively market Seer Collective and introduce individual Advisors to prospective clients through our website, email, social media, campaigns, features, events, and other opportunities. Rather than merely providing a place to list your services, we want to help people discover the practitioner behind the profile. We cannot promise a particular number of bookings or equal exposure in every campaign, but marketing the network and its Advisors is an ongoing priority.

How will clients find me?

Clients will be able to explore Advisor profiles by modality, areas of guidance, experience level, and other relevant information. Each profile will introduce your background, specialties, approach, and offerings. We also plan to help clients reconnect with Advisors they value.

Can I promote my Seer Collective profile?

Absolutely. You are encouraged to share your profile and availability with your own community. We will provide brand and linking guidance to help keep communications clear and consistent.

Will there be opportunities to learn from Athena and other experienced Advisors?

Yes. We plan to offer optional monthly online Advisor Circles, sometimes hosted by Athena Perrakis or our lead Advisor. These are collaborative conversations—not technical trainings or mandatory meetings—where Advisors can explore approaches to their work, exchange ideas, ask questions, and get thoughtful guidance on strengthening their practice. Whether you are growing an established practice or refining your skills, these gatherings are intended to offer connection, perspective, and opportunities to learn from one another. Dates, hosts, and topics may vary, and attendance is entirely optional.

Will there be opportunities beyond one-to-one sessions?

We expect the Collective to grow into group readings, member events, classes, workshops, interviews, educational content, and collaborations among Advisors. Not everyone will be expected to participate in every format.

What makes Seer Collective different from other advisor platforms?

We are not trying to build the largest directory or leave individual practitioners competing for attention in a crowded list. We are creating a carefully selected network where clients can feel confident in the human being they choose. For Advisors, that means belonging to a community with a shared standard of care and a team invested in building visibility for the people within it. You bring your perspective and experience; we help more people discover it.

Services & Appointments

Can I choose which services I offer?

Yes. Your offerings should reflect your actual practice and the services approved for your profile. Depending on the final launch offerings, services may include live sessions, written questions, or specialty formats. You will not be expected to offer everything.

How long are sessions?

We currently anticipate standard 30-, 60-, and 90-minute options, though not every Advisor will necessarily offer every length. Additional formats may be introduced as we grow.

Can I select my specialties?

We expect clients to search by both modality and what they want guidance about. These may include relationships, career and business, money, family, life transitions, spiritual development, grief and change, and general guidance. Categories will be refined as the Collective grows.

Do clients choose their own Advisor?

Usually, yes. Clients can select a particular Advisor, and we also plan options for people who prefer the next appropriate available practitioner.

What is the “Ask a Question” service?

We are exploring written guidance for clients who want an answer without booking a live session. A client may choose a specific Advisor or request an available match. How questions are accepted, delivered, priced, and timed will be explained before this service becomes available.

How are appointments handled?

Clients discover and pay for sessions through Seer Collective. At launch, Advisors are responsible for handling their own bookings and appointment coordination directly with clients after purchase. This includes contacting the client, arranging and confirming a mutually agreed time, providing connection details, and delivering the session through the approved format, such as phone or video. Payments for Seer Collective bookings must remain on the Seer Collective site. We may add scheduling integrations later, but they are not part of the initial workflow.

Do I have to be available all the time?

No. You control the availability you can realistically offer. We aim to provide broad coverage across the network without requiring any individual Advisor to be constantly available. Keeping commitments and responding promptly to purchased bookings will matter.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Contact the client as promptly as possible and follow the Collective's documented cancellation and rescheduling procedures. We will publish rules for no-shows, late cancellations, refunds, and related compensation before launch. Repeated unreliable scheduling may affect participation.

What if there is a problem with a client?

Seer Collective intends to support Advisors with platform and customer-service concerns, including complaints, payment issues, and reports of misconduct. You will still be responsible for professional communication and managing the practical details of your appointments.

Can I refuse or end a session?

Yes, where appropriate. You should not be expected to continue in the face of threats, harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, or other unsafe behavior. You may also need to decline work outside your scope. We will provide a process for reporting and documenting these situations.

Pricing, Payments & Independence

How do I get paid?

Clients pay Seer Collective through the website. The Collective then pays the Advisor's agreed share on its established payout schedule. The final commission, payout timing, eligibility for payment, and treatment of refunds will be disclosed in the Advisor Agreement before you join.

Does Seer Collective take a commission?

Yes. The Collective provides the marketplace, payment processing, technology, marketing, shared audience-building, and customer-support infrastructure. The applicable revenue split will be stated clearly in your agreement.

Are processing fees deducted from my share?

Our intention is to make compensation transparent, without unexpected layers of fees. The final treatment of payment-processing charges will be explained in the agreement.

Can I set my own prices?

Yes. Advisors set their own prices for the services they offer on Seer Collective. You can determine pricing that reflects your experience, the type and length of each offering, and the value of your work. Your prices will be clearly displayed to clients before purchase.

Will members receive discounts on my sessions?

We are planning membership benefits that may include discounts on sessions. We intend to be clear about how any platform-wide promotion affects Advisor compensation rather than changing your payout without disclosure. Final details will be in onboarding and compensation policies.

What are membership credits?

Some memberships may provide monthly credits that clients can save toward future guidance. The way those credits are redeemed and how Advisors are compensated for credit-funded sessions will be explained before the program launches.

Can I keep working with my existing clients?

Yes. Seer Collective is not intended to replace your independent practice. Clients who discover and purchase through Seer Collective must, however, be serviced through the platform according to its terms rather than deliberately redirected off-site to avoid the agreed commission.

Does Seer Collective own my business or existing client list?

No. You retain your existing independent business, brand, intellectual property, and client relationships. New client relationships formed through the Collective are subject to platform privacy, client-contact, and non-solicitation terms, to be detailed in your agreement.

Am I an employee of Seer Collective?

The current model anticipates independent practitioners rather than employees. Final classification and corresponding terms will be included in the applicable agreement.

Do I have to sign an agreement?

Yes. Every participating Advisor will review and sign an agreement covering compensation, client relationships, confidentiality, scheduling, cancellations, conduct, intellectual property, and platform expectations before becoming active.

Professional Standards

Is Seer Collective therapy?

No. Our services are for guidance, reflection, education, mentorship, spiritual exploration, and human connection. Unless a practitioner is separately appropriately licensed and specifically practicing in an authorized capacity, services must not be presented as psychotherapy, medical treatment, diagnosis, or another licensed health service. Advisors must never advise clients to stop prescribed medication or professional care.

What if a client seems to be in crisis?

An Advisor should not attempt to diagnose or replace emergency, medical, psychiatric, legal, or other licensed professional help. We will provide clear safety and escalation guidance as part of onboarding.

Are there things Advisors cannot promise?

Yes. Advisors must avoid guaranteed outcomes concerning pregnancy, death, health conditions, legal cases, investments, gambling, or other people's choices. Intuition and spiritual interpretation are welcome; certainty where there is no reliable basis is not.

Can I use my own style and methods?

Yes. Distinct voices, practices, traditions, and perspectives are part of the value of the Collective. All Advisors are expected to meet common standards for respectful conduct, confidentiality, responsibility, and client safety.

Will I need to use Seer Collective branding?

You will present yourself as an Advisor within the network but keep your identity as an individual practitioner. We will provide guidance on profiles, logos, imagery, and promotional language so the brand stays recognizable without erasing your voice.

Launch & Onboarding

Will Athena Perrakis offer sessions?

Athena is expected to participate, with limited availability that may initially be offered through a waitlist. The broader vision is to introduce clients to an exceptional network of guides rather than depend on access to any one person.

Is there a minimum number of sessions I must offer?

We do not currently anticipate requiring full-time availability. Active Advisors should offer a realistic level of availability and reliably coordinate any sessions purchased. Particular requirements, if any, will be shared before onboarding.

Can I take time away?

We expect Advisors to be able to reduce or pause their availability when needed, provided that existing client commitments are properly managed. The process will be included in onboarding materials.

What happens after I am accepted?

Accepted Advisors will review and sign the agreement, complete their profiles and bios, choose eligible specialties and services, provide payment and tax information, and review standards and policies. We will also explain how to receive purchased bookings, contact clients, arrange appointments yourself, and document completion. Seer Collective takes payment; you coordinate and deliver the appointment.

When is Seer Collective launching?

We are preparing the founding Collective and the platform for launch. Some Advisors may be invited to apply or complete onboarding before the public launch. A confirmed launch schedule will be shared when available.

Who can answer additional questions?

Please contact the Seer Collective team during application or onboarding. We would rather clarify a policy or process early than leave you uncertain about what participation involves.
